Is it okay to use children for advertisements?

I think that whether you can use children in advertisements or not depends on the ad. Firstly, it depends on who the advertisement is trying to reach. It doesn't make sense putting a fourty year old man in an ad for a childrens toy for example. The same thing applies to haveing a fourteen year old child try to sell you insurance. I think that you can use children to present a product that is made to be used by them. If you're selling childrens clothes for example you want to show them off and useing a manequin won't make the clothes look as presentable. Even tho diaper ads are targeting parents, children are still used to present the product. In conclusion, I think that you can use children in advertisements if they are targeted towards kids or when children are used to present a product made for them.

Why is it so hard to admit we've been wrong?

It's so hard to admit we've been wrong becouse we think that being wrong makes us a halfwit. This idea that making mistakes is bad is developed right from our childhood. Being wrong at school, for example, is immediately punished, whereas being right and not making any mistakes whatsoever is rewarded. We are taught to strive for perfection and growing up that's what we see when we think of an inteligent person, someone who's never been wrong. That's why it's so hard to admit to being wrong. It's becouse we've learnt that making mistakes is bad.

Why do most people root for the underdog?

When it comes to any kind of competition there are always some favourites and some underdogs. Even befour the game, battle or match starts we know who is most likely to win. That being said, why do people want the probable loosers to win?  My idea of it is that an individual person can easily identify themself with the person that looks stressed out, nervous and generally uncomfortable. On the other hand it's hard for us to imagine what being the best at something really feels like, and so we don't find the plausible winners to be as relatable. Also, when the underdog suprisingly wins the competition we feel like he earned this achivement, while for the more likely to win players it's the norm to win. That means that watching the underdog win is just more entertaining.  The underdog winning a big competition is always a viral story. It seldom happens but when it does it shocks the crowd and everyone watching. An event like that is unforgetable and that's why people lik...
